VITAL - Volunteers In Thompson Assisting Learning
Volunteers are a very important part of the partnership necessary to provide the most complete education for our students. We welcome your participation in Riverview’s VITAL program.
By working with the school staff, you will be providing further enrichment experiences and positive role models. Your valuable help will allow more individualized instruction and personal attention for student learning. It also provides participants with an increased awareness of the needs and challenges facing education. Please contact your child’s teacher, the PTCO Vital Coordinator, or the school’s main office for more information about this important opportunity.
Watch D.O.G.S.
WATCH D.O.G.S.® is a national initiative founded in 1998 to inspire more positive male role models to show all students by our participation that education is important. The program has been launched on over 8000 campuses through collaboration between school administrators and local communities across 47 States in the U.S. and four countries worldwide, representing millions of volunteer shifts by parents, guardians and community members.
Our goal at WATCH D.O.G.S.® is to have as many volunteers as possible to assist educators and be a positive role model for our future generations.
If you are interested in volunteering as a part of this program, please email our Dean of Students at kate.wines@tsd.org.
